Our Value Management is aimed at the establishment of an active value-orientated culture, which goes beyond the formal compliance with laws and regulations.

This also includes a collective spirit of preventing and fighting that kind of behavior, which harms the enterprise financially or our company reputation.

Sometimes employees or individuals of the surrounding environment are aware of the harmful behavior, but - out of fear of reprisals - do not dare to tell somebody about it. They may ask themselves if their direct supervisor or colleague from the opposite desk is also involved or they may wonder: “How will they react if I report an irregular behaviour? Will they believe me and will my hints be tracked at all?”

To counteract any doubts of this kind, you can hand in your note either by name or completely anonymously. In providing this specially secured communication platform, LAP offers you self-protection in staying anonymous. At the same time you are playing an active part in the clarification of criminal behavior.

Individuals, who, after leaving an anonymous message, create an anonymous postbox, are signaling their willingness to answer more questions and follow-up on the act reported.

Persons who report harmful acts out of ethical and moral reasons are not squealers. On the contrary, they help substantially in preserving the social and ethical values of our country.

However, please keep in mind that your statements about others can lead to decisions that could have serious consequences for these people. Therefore, we recommend you to provide us with information about another person’s alleged irregular behaviour only if it is strictly based on your best knowledge.

Your help makes it possible to detect criminal activities at an early stage, identify delinquents and, consequently, prevent further damage.

  • Why should I submit a report?

Adherence to statutory, societal and internal organizational standards is essential to achieve a positive and open business culture.

Perhaps you have knowledge of damaging behavior or risks which threaten the company. Your report helps to detect possible damages to the company’s finances and reputation early on, therefore helping to ensure the sustainable existence of the company and your workplace.

  • What types of reports should be made?

All reports regarding breaches of statutory and internal organizational rules are important to us. We focus on categories like Corruption, Robbery/ Fraud, Scam or Deceit/ Documents forgery, Breach of confidentiality, Damage to property/ company assets, Breach of occupational health and safety standards, Breach of values and principles of LAP, Breach of the airport security regulations, Conflict of interests, Other violations of laws.

More detailed information regarding these categories will be provided to you during the reporting process.

  • How will my report be processed? How do I set up an anonymous postbox?

To submit an anonymous or personalized report start by clicking the “Submit Report“ button located in the top left corner of our introductory page.

The reporting process consists of four steps:

    1. To begin with you will be asked to read the informational section about protecting your identity and to complete a security code.
    2. After that you will be asked to identify the category that best indicates the focus of your report.
    3. Next you will be asked to complete the Report Page. You may use your own words to describe the incident and answer related questions. You description should not contain more than 4,096 letters, which equals a fully completed DIN A4 sheet of paper. To support your report you may also submit a file of up to 2 MB. After you have submitted your report, you will be given a case number as proof that you submitted this specific report.
    4. Finally, you will be asked to set up your own anonymous postbox. This postbox will allow you to receive our answers, respond to questions, and keep you posted on the investigation.

Once you have established an anonymous postbox you will be able to directly access it via the Log-in button. Prior to opening your postbox, you will have to confirm a security code.

The electronic BKMS® Whistleblower System’s technology will maintain your anonymity as long as you do not submit any information that can be traced back to your personal identity.

  • How can I receive a reply, yet at the same time remain anonymous?

The uppermost principle of the BKMS® System is to protect the whistleblower's identity. The system's anonymity protection function is certified and you may verify it at any time.

You select your own personal pseudonym or username and password when establishing your postbox. Encryption and other special security methods ensure that your report remains anonymous at all times. At no time during the reporting process will you be asked for personal information. The BKMS® System’s technology will maintain your anonymity as long as you do not submit any information that can be traced back to your personal identity.

The system will also protect your anonymity if you use a public computer.

The person in charge of your report will contact you via your anonymous postbox to provide information about the status of your report or to ask further questions if certain details need to be clarified. Your anonymity will always be protected during this process. We are interested in the reports in order to prevent damages, not to get information about the person who submitted them.
