ADAC Compliance Service GmbH
ADAC Anti-Misconduct and Corruption Whistleblowing Portal

Help us uphold the respect of law and compliance with ADAC policies and guidelines and fight white collar crime!

ADAC strongly advocates compliance with policies, guidelines and other rules of law. To prevent misconduct and enforce laws, policies and guidelines, ADAC needs the help of every individual – including yours. In the past, club members, employees or third parties voicing concerns have helped identify wrongdoings and pursue the violators.

In addition to causing direct financial losses, illegal dealings and white collar crime (such as fraud, theft, embezzlement and corruption) and non-compliance with ADAC policies and guidelines may damage the image and standing of the organisation and, if it comes to the worst, threaten ADAC's existence and the jobs it provides.

ADAC therefore came to the decision to complement the regular reporting channels (e.g. to the direct supervisors) with a standardised whistleblower portal: the BKMS® System (Business Keeper Monitoring System). This is a web-based application allowing you to raise concerns about potential offences against the law, white collar crime and violations of ADAC policies and guidelines around the clock. You can choose between disclosing your name or remaining anonymous when submitting a report.

In particular, ADAC insurance staff can use this system to report potential or actual offences against the German insurance supervisory act (VAG) or any ordinance based on such act or any other legal regulations (e.g. the EU market abuse regulation), and criminal activity within the organisation, if any.

Whistleblowers acting in good faith have no repercussions to fear. “In good faith” means that whistleblowers believe in the veracity of the facts they report, regardless of any conclusions to the contrary that may emerge in the investigation of the facts.

ADAC is therefore thankful for sharing any concerns you may have and will follow up each one in the strictest confidentiality. However, fairness requires that those implicated in any allegations also should have their just interests protected. We would urge whistleblowers to use the system responsibly. It must not be used to deliberately disseminate false information or engage in calumny. Abusing the system may result in personal, civil or criminal consequences.

Please note: ADAC has set up this whistleblower portal exclusively for raising concerns about offences against the law, white collar crime and violations of ADAC policies and guidelines. Any concerns other than those pertinent to the nature of this process, for instance club members' complaints and grievances about ADAC benefits, products and services will not be followed up through this portal. ADAC has provided other avenues to this purpose. A list of contacts is available on the Internet at www.adac.de/lob-kritik (praise & criticism).

Thank you for your support and cooperation.
