Sberbank Europe employees are reliable partners for our customers. We are true to our word, keep our promises and accept responsibility for our actions. We act in our customers' and the bank's interest and observe statutory and regulatory rules with respect to all of our activities. If individuals in our company infringe these principles, they damage our company and, in extreme cases, can put the long-term success of Sberbank Europe at risk. Internal information on such misconduct can make an important contribution to avoiding or minimizing any such damages and can help us to safeguard the reputation of Sberbank Europe and its subsidiaries.

For this reason, we have decided to supplement our existing communication channels for this type of information with a standardized whistleblower system, the BKMS® System (Business Keeper Monitoring System).

This whistleblower system, is a high security communications platform and provides you with the opportunity to submit reports about certain serious abuses in your company anonymously. With your report, you make a responsible contribution to fight against any potential irregular or illegal activity.

The BKMS® System is available exclusively for reports on facts available, which fall into one of the following categories:
  • Corruption
  • Fraud
  • Theft/embezzlement
  • Money laundering/financing of terrorism
  • Violations of legal or regulatory provisions/regulations
  • I seek advice - Compliance Officer

Please report only information which you are convinced to be correct to the best of your knowledge and belief, and be aware that casting suspicion on someone else can result in serious consequences. For further guidance, please refer to our Whistleblowing Policy.

Once you have submitted your report, you can set up an (anonymous) electronic postbox; this allows you to enter into a dialogue to provide more specific information or to receive feedback about the current state of progress.

  • Why should I submit a report?

Adherence to statutory, societal and internal organizational standards forms an important part of a positive and open business culture.

Perhaps you have knowledge of damaging behavior or risks which threaten our group. Your report helps to detect possible damages to our group and our reputation early on, therefore helping to ensure the existence of your company and your workplace.

  • What types of reports help your organisation?

All reports regarding breaches of statutory and internal organizational rules will be gathered and processed.

More detailed information regarding possible key factors of the report will be provided to you during the reporting process.

  • How will my report be processed? What is a postbox and how do I open one?

To submit an anonymous or personalized report start by clicking the “Submit Report” button located on the top left side of our information page.

The reporting process consists of four steps:

    1. First, read the informational section about protecting your identity. This section also includes a security questionnaire.
    2. Second, you will be asked to describe the key facts of your report on the following page.
    3. On the Report Page you will be asked to use your own words to describe the incident you are reporting – using no more than 4,096 letters, or a fully completed DIN A4 sheet of paper – and to answer specific questions. You may also submit smaller files of up to 2 MB to support your report. Please remember that documents can contain information about their author. After you have submitted your report you will be given a reference number as proof that you submitted this specific report.
    4. Finally, you will be asked to set up your own secured postbox. This postbox will be used to communicate with you, answer your questions and keep you posted on the status of your report.

Once you have established secured postbox you will be able to access it via the Login button. Prior to opening your postbox you will have to complete a security procedure to ensure that only the authorized person – you – has access.

The electronic BKMS® Whistleblower System’s technology will maintain your anonymity as long as you do not submit any information that contains your personal identity.

We can assure you that we are only interested in the incidents you have reported. The objective is to detect deficiencies early on and to prevent financial damages.

  • How can I receive a reply, yet at the same time remain anonymous?

The uppermost principle of the BKMS® System that is used is to protect the whistleblower's identity. The system's anonymity protection function is certified and may verify it at any time.

You select your own personal pseudonym and password that you use to establish your postbox. Encryption and other special security methods ensure that your report remains anonymous at all times. At no time during the reporting process will you be asked for personal information. Do not submit any information that can be traced back to your personal identity. Please do not submit your report on a PC provided by your employer.

The person in charge of your report will contact you via your secured postbox to provide information about the status of your report or to ask further questions if certain details need to be clarified - your anonymity will be always protected during this process. We are interested in these reports in order to prevent damages, not to get information about the person who submitted them.
