DATEV provides reliable and dynamic support to its partners, and pioneers their personal success with its first-class and future-oriented solutions. Along with this brand promise, there are guidelines of conduct which outline the basic values and success factors for working at DATEV, and which offer an orientation tool for all employees. They ask for mutual respect and teamwork that is based on self-responsibility.

Compliance with legal standards and their implementing provisions represent a major criterion. DATEV is committed to complying with the law, without any limitations. This commitment to adhere to business principles is formulated in the DATEV eG Code of Business Conduct. In order to protect the company from financial losses or damages to its reputation, it is important that irregularities occurring in our company are addressed.

In addition to receiving information from external partners, the Executive Board also relies on information provided by employees in order to detect criminal behavior, or behavior that would damage the company. Trivial transgressions are not in focus. Persons providing information for ethical and moral reasons are not considered "squealers". They play a key role in maintaining the values of society and the rule of law. This also includes making DATEV aware of problems, in order to protect the company against financial losses or damages to its reputation

In order to protect those providing information from discrimination, the Executive Board has decided to set up a specially secured communication platform outside of DATEV, which can be used to submit reports anonymously over the Internet. At the same time - and that is the advantage of this system - it is still possible to enter into a dialogue, for example, to provide detail regarding the facts of a case.

We count on your responsible contribution as a DATEV employee, customer, partner or supplier, in order to fight against illegal activities which lead to financial losses and damage to reputation.
