Conducting oneself with integrity and responsibility is a key element of our corporate culture.

It is not only important TO ACHIEVE business goals but also HOW we achieve them. Our customers, our business partners, our shareholders, our outside creditors, the public and finally we as employees expect the very same from ourselves – acting with integrity – in both our business relationships and in our interaction with one another. In other words: honestly, fairly and transparently.

Misconduct and violations of behavioral standards can not only have serious consequences for the individual personally, but also for the entire company. For this reason we encourage you to come forward and report misconduct when witnessed.

You can rest assured that:

  • Nothing negative will arise for whistleblowers that have provided information to the best of their knowledge. We will stand behind our whistleblowers.
  • Any details given will be investigated and checked under strict confidence and from individuals who have an obligation to maintain secrecy.

Thank you for your report!

  • Why should I submit a report?

You should submit a report because information provided by honest and upright employees is one of the most effective ways of exposing misconduct in our company.

Perhaps you are aware of harmful acts or risks that are endangering the company. Your report can help expose damage to the finances and image of the company at an early stage. Doing so helps ensure the sustainable success of the company and the continued existence of the jobs it creates.

  • What types of reports help your organisation?

You can report any violation or suspicion of violation against the legal framework and internal guidelines. We help you by guiding you through the process step by step.

  • Did I consider all other available options before deciding to submit a report here?

You should always first try to approach your direct superior for initial support. If this is not possible, information can be addressed to the compliance unit responsible or to the compliance manager. This reporting portal should be considered as a last option, and used only when you believe that other contact options are not feasible, and you feel that the report should go directly to Group Compliance.

  • How will my report be processed? What is a postbox and how do I open one?

To submit an anonymous or personalized report start by clicking the “Submit Report“ button located on the top left side of our information page.

The reporting process consists of four steps:

    1. First, read the informational section about protecting your identity. This section also includes a security questionnaire.
    2. Second, you will be asked to describe the key facts of your report on the following page.
    3. On the Report Page you will be asked to use your own words to describe the incident you are reporting – using no more than 5,000 letters, or a fully completed DIN A4 sheet of paper – and to answer specific questions. You may also submit smaller files of up to 5 MB to support your report. Please remember that documents can contain information about their author. After you have submitted your report you will be given a reference number as proof that you submitted this specific report.
    4. Finally, you will be asked to set up your own secured postbox. This postbox will be used to communicate with you, answer your questions and keep you posted on the status of your report.

Once you have established secured postbox you will be able to access it via the Login button. Prior to opening your postbox you will have to complete a security procedure to ensure that only the authorized person – you – has access.

The electronic BKMS® Whistleblower System's technology will maintain your anonymity as long as you do not submit any information that contains your personal identity.

We can assure you that we are only interested in the incidents you have reported. The objective is to detect deficiencies early on and to prevent reputational and financial damages.

  • How can I receive a reply, yet at the same time remain anonymous?

The uppermost principle of the BKMS® Incident Reporting that is used is to protect the whistleblower's identity.

You select your own personal pseudonym and codeword that you use to establish your postbox. Encryption and other special security methods ensure that your report remains anonymous at all times. At no time during the reporting process will you be asked for personal information. Do not submit any information that can be traced back to your personal identity. Please do not submit your report on a PC provided by your employer.

The person in charge of your report will contact you via your anonymous postbox to provide information about the status of your report or to ask further questions if certain details need to be clarified - your anonymity will be always protected during this process. We are interested in these reports in order to prevent damages, not to get information about the person who submitted them.
